What if a parent tells us they don't want their child on the Internet?

As the primary intellectual instrument of our time, all students will need to use a laptop in order to be a successful participant in our learning community. We do not allow parents to exclude their student from the use of books. If a parent still does not want their child using the internet, a personalized education plan will be developed for the child with pen and paper style assignments. The amount of work will be the same, only a different means.
