Parking Troubles in Pleasantview?

posted Feb 15, 2017, 8:32 PM by Communications - Pleasantview Community   [ updated Mar 10, 2017, 7:51 AM ]

Are you tired of coming home and not being able to park in front of your house because of the number of commuters parking there for the day and taking the LRT to work?  Do we have a deal for you.

In conjunction with Malmo and Lendrum, we have asked the City of Edmonton to help us deter this situation by putting parking restrictions in place.  The City has indicated if we get enough signatures (66%) from residents  between 107 – 110 Street and 51 – 53 Ave along with residents between 105 – 106 Street and 52nd Avenue we could get approval for "2 Hour Parking, 08:00-18:00, Monday - Friday, Except Residents with Valid Permits".

a)      Canvassers will be in your area over the next several weeks to collect signatures or hear your views.

b)      We have an email address where you can send your thoughts on this to parking@pleasantviewcommunityleague.ca.

c)       If you want to get involved as a volunteer please send a note to the email address above.
