Conservation of Natural Resources

Prerequisites: Must be sophomore, junior or senior; completed Ag I or II.
Conservation of Natural Resources – This course prepares students for activities in the

conservation and/or improvement of natural resources such as oil, water, air, forests, fish and

wildlife for economic and recreational purposes. (CD 016759, CIP 03.0101)

Course Rationale – Agriculture encompasses the food, fiber, conservation and natural resource systems, employing over 20% of the nation’s workforce. Management of our

natural resources, wildlife, and ecological systems is an essential component in sustaining

our environment

This course is offered on a rotational basis and will be offered again during the 2010-2011 school year.
