The Plainfield School District (from Policy IGBB, 8/25/2011 - Plainfield School District) "believes that all students with disabilities benefit from a free and appropriate public education. See Policy IGBA (1/23/2006).  Any student age 2.5 to 21 years suspected of having a disability may be referred to the District by parents, District personnel, or any other concerned party. The Plainfield School District implements the Special Education Process utilizing the following sequence:

b.) Evaluation (Ed 1107)

c.) Determination of Eligibility (Ed 1108)

d.) Development & approval of IEP (1109)

e.) Placement (ED 1111)

f.)  Ongoing monitoring of the IEP (Ed 1109.06)
