National CO-OP Scholarship Program
The scholarship is open to high school seniors planning to attend one of the following schools:Clarkson University, Drexel University, Wentworth Institute Of Technology, Rochester Institute of Technology, University of Cincinnati, University of Toledo, University of Lowell and State University of New York Oswego and Merrimack College. Awards of 195 merit scholarships totaling $4,200,000. To qualify for this scholarship applicant should have a GPA of 3.5 or better, include a typed one-page essay (200-word) describing why you have chosen a college cooperative program. Steven Phillips Memorial Scholarship
Scholarships ranging from $5000 to $15,000 yearly, the award is renewable for up to 4 years.Applicants should have a GPA of 3.0 or higher, be enrolled in a demanding course of study and demonstrate skilled writing ability. Students should have financial need. In this inaugural year, they expect to award approximately 10 college scholarships ranging from $5000 to $15,000 each year, renewable for 4 years. Guy P. Boos Sr. Memorial Sports Scholarship
The family of Guy P. Boos Sr. will be awarding a $500 scholarship in his memory to a senior at Taconic who has been involved in sports. An essay on "What Sportsmanship Means to Me" along with a recommendation is required. Copies of the scholarship are available in Guidance.THS- deadline- April 2, 2018

Angela Taylor Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship is in memory of Angela Taylor, a nurse at Mt. Greylock who exemplified our core values of integrity, compassion, and excellence. This scholarship will be awarded to an applicant who mirrors these values.This application is available for any student continuing their education in Nursing or pursuing a career in Healthcare. Junior League of Berkshire County Nicole Beebe Scholarship
The Nicole Wilson Beebe Scholarship was named after a former Junior League member. The Beebe Scholarship is awarded for the dedication a female student has shown in serving her community through volunteerism. The winner of this scholarship will receive $1000, to be paid directly to the college or university of choice. Bianchi-Barbarotta Sportsman Scholarship
This scholarship is named after Al Bianchi and Vera Bianchi-Barbarotta, a brother and sister who impacted the young people of Berkshire county during their lives. The foundation will award a minimum of two $1000 scholarships to benefit student-athletes. The requirements are seniors who have participated in a varsity-sport and will be attending a two or four year college next year, must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and performed volunteer work in the community. Daniel Pearl Berkshire Scholarship
The $1000 award is given in memory of Daniel Pearl, the Wall Street Journal reporter kidnapped and killed in Pakistan early in 2002. Pearl worked in the Berkshires at the North Adams Transcript and the The Berkshire Eagle. While Pearl's career was in journalism, he was also a gifted musician, trained as a classical violinist. He played guitar nad mandolin as well. For this reason the award is given annually to a student who intends to study and pursue a career in either journalism or music. Two letters of recommendation. A brief essay on what inspired your interest in journalism or music and in particular,"How you believe you might be able to change the world for the better." THS- deadline- April 4, 2018

Berkshire Health Systems Kermit Gordon Scholarship
This scholarship is funded by the Kermit Gordon Fund at Berkshire Health Systems.
