Social Studies Tutoring/Catch Up


Thursdays 3:30 to 4:30


To participate students must have a ride home promptly at 4:30





Grades

A student’s average is based on homework,classwork grades, activities, quizzes, projects (individual and group), warm up activities and tests.  Students are expected to work on social studies anchor assignments when they finish the daily assignment.  Programs will be listed on Canvas with a link to the actual sites, for students to access programs quickly.   These programs  are designed to review social studies vocabulary, skills and geographic literacy skills.

Your child’s grade is based on the following:

Homework- 15%

Classwork- 40%

Tests and Projects- 45%


The Pitt County grading scale:

A - 100 to 90

B - 89 to 80

C - 79 to 70

D - 69 to 60

F - 59 or below
