Monday, May 28, Memorial Day:  No school

Friday, June 1:  6th grade field trip to Catawba Science Center.  Bring a bag lunch and a drink

Last day of school:  Tuesday, June 5th    Awards Day:  It is hard to believe that the end of the year is upon us. Your children have worked all year long and we would like to recognize them for their hard work. On June 5, 2018, at 8:30 am, we would like to cordially invite you to our End of the Year Awards Day Celebration. This will take place in the upper campus gym. This will be a time to celebrate your child as they are recognized for academic accomplishments, as well as, athletics or extracurricular achievements. We ask that all students wear their uniform attire to school so their appearance is nice and professional as they receive awards.  We look forward to seeing you and appreciate the support you have given us throughout the 2017-2018 year.

If you need help with Powerschool, contact Audrey Deaton at   Powerschool is where you can see your student's grades for quizzes, tests, homework, classwork.

Afterthoughts:  Thursdays and Fridays after school until 4 pm or 4:45 pm (depending on how much work your student is making up).  This is when your student makes up time for absences, makes up missed work, and makes up quizzes and tests.  If your student misses a science quiz/test, I will email you that he/she will need to make it up in the next Afterthoughts.  You pick up your student on the 6-10th grade drop off side (near gym).  The last day for Afterthoughts is May 25.

The science textbooks do not go home.  But students have access to the textbook online.   Students have their login information.
