### Welcome to my Geometry class website. You should find everything you need to succeed throughout the course on the sidebars to the left. I hope you will find all the links and information helpful and easily digestible. I have included the two additional items on this page, just below, with the intention of getting your mathy senses to liven up, introducing some new and (hopefully) interesting information into your minds, or just getting you to crack a mathematics related smile.

Math pun of the week:TEACHER A person who helps you solve problems you'd never have without them. | Math fact of the week:A ‘googolplex’ is the number 1 followed by a googol zeros, a number so ridiculously big that it can’t be written because there literally isn't enough room in the entire universe to fit it in! 12 + 3 - 4 + 5 + 67 + 8 + 9 = 100 The golden ratio of approximately 1.618 between two quantities such as lengths often appears in nature (tree branching, uncurling ferns, pine cone arrangements etc) and has been used throughout history to create aesthetically pleasing designs and art works such as Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa. 111,111,111 x 111,111,111 = 12,345,678,987,654,321 |
