Welcome to Pleasant Hope R-VI Schools Health Services.

Our nursing staff consists of Karie Kaiser, L.P.N. our district's health services coordinator and Greg Ross, R.N. We as a team are here to assist your child in their health care needs while they are attending our school district. Our mission is to maintain a safe and healthy environment for students to have an optimum learning experience. If you have any questions, please contact the school nurse.

The Miles for Smiles Mobile Dental Unit will be at the Pleasant Hope R-VI School District, March 20th, 21st, 22nd, and 23rd, 2018. This service provides dental treatment and prevention to local county school age children that have Medicaid, self-pay, or private dental insurance. If your child meets the above requirements, please complete the enclosed self-addressed patient information/consent form and mail it directly to Miles for Smiles. A representative from MFS will notify you of your child’s appointment date and time. If you have any questions, please call the number listed on the MFS application form.

Please be sure to complete the postage paid MFS application form and mail directly to MFS.



IMMUNIZATION INFORMATION 

State law and health regulations require a Tdap (Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis) vaccine for all incoming eighth (8th) grade students if the child has completed the recommended childhood DTaP/DTP vaccination series and has not received a Td booster within the past two (2) years. State law and health regulations also require a Meningitis (MCV) vaccination for all incoming eighth (8th) grade students.
