The ENERGY STAR label is a very familiar icon tha represents energy efficiency for it's owner.  The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy have teamed up to set energy efficiency standards for products and buildings.   Ten of our buildings have earned the prestigious ENERGY STAR label for buildings used for K - 12 education.  These buildings are in the top 25% of buildings when compared to similar buildings around the United States.  The buildings that have earned the ENERGY STAR label for 2012 are:

Penn High School, Schmucker Middle School, Discovery Middle School, Grissom Middle School, Northpoint Elementary School, Prairie Vista Elementary School, Elm Road Elementary School, Meadow's Edge Elementary School, Elsie Rogers Elementary School and Madison Elementary School.
