State Testing Trial Update!
On February 18th from 7:50 to 8:45 PGHS will have a testing infrastructure trial as required by the Arkansas Department of Education for upcoming spring online testing.  All grade 9 and 10 students are required to participate.  Students in grades 11 and 12 will be excused to be late, and arrive at school by 8:45 on that day.  Those students that ride the bus will be supervised in the cafeteria during the testing trial.  Please contact the high school office if you have further questions.  

Parent Teacher Conference Information
Due to a conflict the PGHS hosting the regional basketball tournament, Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on the following nights:
Monday, February 22nd and Tuesday, February 23rd
3:30pm - 6:30pm

    PRAIRIE GROVE HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

    February 12, 2016

     

    1. Seniors - stop by the counseling center to make sure you have all the scholarship applications that have come through.

    2. Sophomores & Juniors interested in attending NTI for one of the technical programs for 1/2 day next year can stop by the counseling center to pick up an application.  Deadline to apply is April 1st.

    3. A reminder for students about Valentine’s – you will not be allowed to have balloons or glass containers on the bus.

    4. If anyone is interested in participating in the ACTM math contest on Saturday March 5th, please sign-up in Mrs. Mitchell's room (108) and bring $2 for registration today.

    5. The Fay Jones Club will meet today - 1st lunch into 5th hour in the high school library.

    6.     7. If you are interested in hearing a presentation from the US Air Force please sign up in the counseling center by February 22nd

    8. All Valentine deliveries will need to go to the cafeteria. The list of students who have received a delivery will be posted on the cafeteria doors. We will update the lists every hour. 

    9. No school this Monday, Feb. 15 for President’s Day.
