    PRAIRIE GROVE HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

    Powder Puff Game tonight!!!
    Boys walk at 6:00pm! Don’t miss this display of beauty and feminine athleticism! 

    Spring Pictures are in. They can be picked up in the office.

    Open Campus Permission Forms for Semester Tests are now available in the office.

    Congratulations to FIRST Robotics Team 5006, Apophis, for making their way to the World Championship.  They also brought back the World Gracious Professionalism Award.  Special congrats to Jessie Coleman who represented Prairie Grove (other members were from Haus Hall)

    Friday- May 1st
    This Friday during first lunch, the library will host this year's very last Music in the Library Performance.  The featured band will be "We Break for Birds", consisting of Austin Cunningham, Brian Eubanks, Roy McKenzie, and Blake Weaver.  You won't want to miss this jaw-dropping, awe-inspiring performance!!

    If you plan to take an AP Exam and did not attend one of the pre administration sessions last week you need to stop by the counseling center sometime before Friday!

    Book Club will meet Thursday during 2nd Lunch.

    Seniors! Signed Project Graduation Forms MUST be turned in by May 1st. 
    NO FORMS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER MAY 1st.

    For 9th - 11th grade students wanting to try out for Cheer, Pom or Mascot there will be parent meetings May 7th at 6:00 pm.  The parent meeting for Cheer and Mascot tryouts will be held in the PGHS Cafeteria and the parent meeting for Pom tryouts will be held in the Primary Cafeteria.  
    Students/parents who are unable to attend will need to contact: Rachel Dixon or Vanessa Orr for cheer & Tonya Curtsinger or Kathy Gray for Pom

     FCCLA is steaming gowns for graduation for just $5 each. Bring your items to Mrs. Strayhorn's room.

    The Band is holding a clinic and tryouts for Color Guard.  Anyone can try out for Color Guard and you can sign up for the Fall Semester and receive appropriate fine arts credit. The practices will be on Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30 to 5.  Anyone interested needs to see Mr. Nichols or one of the Flag line Members.  

    Sophomores and Juniors who are interested in attending Northwest Technical Institute for part of the day next year can pick up an application in the Counseling Center.  They have programs in Automotive/Diesel, Cosmetology, Dental Assisting, Welding, and more. Deadline to sign up is May 1st. 

    There will be a Jazz Band Dance in the HS Cafeteria on May 2 at 7PM.  Tickets are $5 and can be purchased from a Jazz Band Member or Mr. Ferguson and Nichols.  Come out for a night of great music, great food, and interesting Dancing!
