    October 8, 2015


    1.  The Homecoming Dance is Saturday, October 24 from 8 to 11pm.  This dance is for Prairie Grove High School students only.  The cost is $10 per person.  You can pay in Rm 104, Mrs. Bartholomew’s room.

    2.  If you are a senior and would like to retake the ASVAB exam, please sign up in the counseling center by October 15th.

    3.  Sophomores, Juniors, & Seniors -  we are partnering with Farmington HS to offer an ACT Boot camp on Thursday, October 15th at the FHS Performing Arts Center.  It will run from 8:05 to 2:05 and the absence will be considered a school activity.  You can sign up online at or in the counseling center.  The cost is $39.00 - see Mrs. Hunt if you have any questions.

    4.  Flu shots for high school students will be November 3rd.   Stop by the nurse's office to get your forms.

    5.  Any Junior interested in information about attending Arkansas Governor's School (AGS) next summer, please stop by at lunch this Friday, Oct. 9th for more information in Mr. Seaton's room 116. AGS is a six-week academic and artistic summer enrichment program held on the campus of Hendrix College in Conway, AR. It is entirely FREE!

    6.  Next Friday, Oct. 16th, there will be a Young Democrats meeting in Mr. Seaton's class - Rm 116 during both lunches. Please contact Roy McKenzie or Faith Strahan for more information.

    7.  If you have signed up for the ACT Boot Camp please stop by the counseling center and pick up a permission form.  They must be turned in by October 14th.
