Hola! Welcome to our new Phyllis E. Williams Spanish Immersion site for 2016-2017

Phyllis E. Williams is a full Spanish Immersion school in Prince George's County. Our program started two years ago with Kindergarten and currently it runs from K-2nd grade. Our program will add a grade every year until eventually our entire school is a Spanish Immersion school.

The mission of Phyllis E. Williams Spanish Immersion School is to create a biliterate community of students  who are Global Leaders that achieve academic excellence through critical thinking and creativity.

Please check out our webpage for news, information, websites, materials and any other resources that can be helpful to you as a parent. We always welcome feedback so if you have any questions please email Sr. Gomez andy.gomez@pgcps.org

This site is a work in progress. Our site will be updated on an ongoing basis. Please check back for updates on resources/materials/information that will be added.

Have a great summer!
Thank you to all of our PEW community! We made it through another year. We would like to thank everyone who made this year so special by helping at our events and helping our students be successful. We are a Community of Champions and without your help this would not be possible. Have a wonderful summer and see you all in September!

Summer Reading Challenge
This summer, we challenge all of our Immersion students to read as many books as possible in English & Spanish. To help with this challenge, the Immersion Department has set up the Summer Reading Challenge site where there are books by grade level and reading level in all Immersion languages. All you have to do is download the book log, read the books and turn in your log in September. Good luck to all students and keep on reading!
