Frederick Douglass High School values parents and their involvement in the school's academic and extracurricular programs. Studies have shown that when parents are involved, students achieve at a higher level. There are many ways that parents can support their student's education. The most obvious means of involvement is to take an active interest in their daily assignments and activities; however, there are also plenty of opportunities for parents to participate on campus as well. FDHS parents have the latitude to serve whenever their schedules permit: weekly, monthly, or occasionally.
