SchoolMAX Family Portal

IMPORTANT: Please read through all of the important notes below as this information is being provided because of difficulties parents have had in the past.

Important things to know about registering:
1. You must register using mozilla Firefox (go to Mozilla.com to download it)
2. You must use all lower case letters in your email address.  (It will allow you to register with capital letters, however, it will not allow you to sign in using them so it is better to use all lower case.)
3. Once you register you will receive an email saying you successfully registered. It will have a link in the email for you to click and set up your security questions. YOU ARE NOT DONE REGISTERING UNTIL YOU CLICK THE LINK IN THE EMAIL PROVIDED AND ANSWER YOUR SECURITY QUESTIONS. If you wait to complete the questions later your account will not work and our Family Portal Administrator cannot correct this issue at the school level. It has to be escalated to another office which will take more time.
4. Please save the questions and answers you use somewhere. The answers must be exact or it will not work.
5. You can reset your password using the idm.pgcps.org site or through the SchoolMAX Family Portal - family.sis.pgcps.org
