CLASS OVERVIEW
The emphasis for 7th Grade Physical Education is “Meeting Challenges and Making Decisions”. Classes will include health & fitness, personal & team challenges, nutrition, individual & cooperative games, skill development and State Physical Fitness Testing. All activities will tie into the State and National Standards.

GOOGLE CLASSROOM
Students will need to join our Google Classroom where our class assignments, notes and other information will be communicated.
ASSIGNMENT TURN IN
Depending on the platform the assignment was given, assignments will be turned in through one of the following ways:
Google Classroom
Paper turn in
Email
LATE WORK POLICY
Up to 1 day late = 75% credit
2 days late = 50% credit
After that = 25% credit (work accepted until the end of the grading period)
Note: Google Classroom & online assignments are still due even if the student is absent. For online work, the weekends also count towards late days.
CLASS NOTEBOOK/BINDER
Each student will need a binder for his/her PE class (can be part of your A/B day binder). The notebook needs to have:
Lined Paper (Not a spiral notebook) 20-25 sheets
Dividers if sharing with other classes
Pens and pencils attached to notebook (plastic pouch, string, etc.)
SURVIVAL TIPS
Within our entire department we believe in personal success. Students will be compared to themselves and not to other students. As long as the student comes prepared to class, with a good attitude, and consistently gives his/her best effort, he/she will have an excellent chance of doing well in this class.
