  • The Helping Frontline Service Providers project: Development of  systematic, ongoing support for Learn To Cope peer helpers working with family members on overdose prevention and addiction recovery
  • Facilitating Grief Support Groups After Substance-Use Death: A two-day workshop delivered with colleagues Joanne Harpel and Jack Jordan to communities served by the NY State Funeral Directors Association.
  • SADOD.ORG: An online resource clearinghouse and meeting place for people bereaved by substance-use deaths -- and for caregivers who help them. SADOD is currently seeking collaboration from every U.S. state in identifying resources for the bereaved.
  • Overdose Fatality Postvention Project: A pilot project to identify approaches to helping frontline workers who are affected by losing clients to the opioid epidemic 
  • Post-Overdose Staff Guidelines: Development of guidelines to help frontline workers address the impact of exposure to an overdose on themselves and others 
  • NY State Funeral Directors Association Symposium: A 90-minute presentation on understanding the qualities of bereavement after a substance-use death
