Come out to the Investors Group office for a seminar entitled “Financial Planning- What’s in it for you?   by Albert Jakubowski  P.Eng, and Ian Romans MBA

Financial Planning is more than managing your retirement savings.  Financial Planning is relevant to every stage of a person’s life.   It spans generations, from before one is born, to the legacy one chooses to leave behind when their life is done.   This seminar provides an introduction to four areas of financial planning including insurance planning, tax planning, debt management and investment planning.   So…… What’s in it for you?  Only you can answer that question.  There is no better time to begin your financial plan then now!

The seminar is expected to be 1 ½ hours in length with a general Q&A session to follow.   So come out and meet some of your fellow Lake Ontario members and network as well as pick up strategies and ideas for your financial success.

This seminar will be presented by:

Albert Jakubowski  P.Eng

Albert Jakubowski is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario with a B.E.Sc in Mechanical Engineering.    His career includes over 23 years in maintenance, projects, operations and technical management roles in an industrial setting.   He is in his third year as a Consultant at Investors Group Financial Services.  He is focused on creating solid financial plans for his clients and then providing the discipline and guidance for them to progress towards achieving their financial goals.

Ian Romans MBA  

Ian Romans is a graduate of the University of Manchester and holds an MBA in Business and Finance.  He is a fourth year Consultant with Investors Group and has a background in Accounting, Business, Tax, Finance and Human Resources.  His business experience spans several countries, including the Caribbean, USA and Canada.  He has held many senior management roles, including Chief Financial Officer.   Ian draws on his business acumen to coach families and young individuals who want to become financially independent; on how to protect their income, reduce their taxes and manage their debt in an effective manner.
