The Lake Ontario Chapter has received an email from the Engineering Student Society Council of Ontario (ESSCO)'s VP Services and VP External of UOIT's Engineering Society, Ryan Farrugia.  Ryan would like our members to be aware of ESSCO's Engineers For The World (E4TW) monthly newsletter geared towards secondary students who may or maynot be considering engineering as a career.  Past issues are listed below.  Please take a look and if you have any family or friends that maybe interested be sure to sign up.

Email excerpt from Ryan:

My name is Ryan Farrugia, and I am the current Vice President Services of the Engineering Student Society Council of Ontario (ESSCO).  I am writing to tell you about an exciting initiative we will be running for secondary school students this year called Engineers For The World (E4TW).  E4TW is a monthly article, written by undergraduate engineering students, that showcases a successful engineer.  The hope is that, by reading the article, high school students will see that engineering isn't just another desk job, but one that can be exciting and lead to great possibilities for them.

A subscription to the article is completely free and is offered in either a digital or hard copy format.  You are free to print and photo copy the articles to give to students and to keep for archival purposes.  Should you wish to subscribe, please e-mail me at with your name, school, position, and e-mail or mailing address.

Please feel free to e-mail me with any questions.  I look forward to hearing from you in the near future.

Best regards,
Ryan Farrugia
