“Creating opportunity for lifelong learning and achievement for people with disabilities”

Our Programs and Services:

Community Programs and Services

Adult Training Facility

The Adult Training Facility provides highly individualized services for people with developmental disabilities to achieve their highest quality of life, enjoy new life experiences and build skills that allow for greater independence.

School-to-Work Transition

School students with disabilities gain experience in the community through work at a variety of job settings as preparation for successful integration into the workforce as adults.
The goal of school-to-work is to develop a portfolio that leads the student into successful adult living and work, enhancing their self-advocacy and self-determination skills.

Vocational Education and Training

Vocational Education and Training program offers individuals with disabilities the positive environment, support and necessary training to seek competitive community employment.

The Janitorial Clean Team is an example of this type of service where individuals are employed by Penn-York but are competitively employed at minimum wage or better on the site of our contractor.
