Our T.A.K.E.S. P.R.I.D.E. theme of the month is “Initiative.”  This week’s quote is from Benjamin Franklin.  Benjamin Franklin said, “One today is worth two tomorrows.”

Every day there is a new tomorrow.  So do not wait for tomorrow to get here.  Take the initiative now to achieve your goals.


6:45 AM -- Intramural Floor Hockey:  Open to all grade levels and will continue through the end of May. 


7:15 AM --- Jazz Band practice (this will be the last morning practice)

 

9:00 AM– 6th grade field trip

Detention: R200 

 

 

Spring Dance:  tomorrow night, 7:00 – 9:00

                        $5.00 tickets will be on sale during lunch

                        Reminder: all café and library fines must be paid to purchase a ticket!

 

Talent Show: Attention all singers, dancers, gymnasts, musicians, jugglers, comedians, and all around talented people. Talent Show season is right around the corner, and it is time to start planning your acts for auditions. If you have questions about an act, see Ms. DellaMonica or Ms. King. If you and a friend are interested in hosting the show, see Mrs. Frable.  Auditions will take place the first week of May. Sign-ups will be outside of Ms. King’s room. Your song must be on CD or have a YouTube link ready to go.  If you are singing you must have an instrumental or Karaoke version of your song.
