Our T.A.K.E.S.P.R.I.D.E. theme of the month is “Dependability.” This week’s quote is from Theodore Roosevelt.  Theodore Roosevelt said, “Far and away the best prize that life offers is the chance to work hard at work worth doing.”

Theodore Roosevelt was the 26th president of the United States of America.  He is noted for his outgoing personality, range of interests and achievements, and his leadership of the Progressive Movement.  His quote is telling everyone that, in order to be known as dependable, we need to work hard at the important things in life.  Treating others the way we want to be treated and going out of our way to help others are two types of work that are worth doing.
