TSA Sending Eight to State Competition

Our Technology Student Association Chapter sent 10 students to compete in the 2018 regionals in Quakertown. The students competed against 11 other districts and came away with multiple ribbons and qualified in six of the seven events in which they competed.

Eight of the 10 students qualified to compete in the TSA states competition in April. The results are as follows: 
  • CO2 Dragster Design event:  3rd place - Marshall Fowler; 7th place - Zach Lincoln; 8th place - Tim Sauers

  • Software Development event: 2nd place - Andrew Bergey and Chris McKinney

  • Structural Design & Engineering event: 2nd place - Brandon Phy and Brandon Lindley; 3rd place - Chris McKinney and Vishal Tailor; 4th place - Marshall Fowler and Nick Alvarez
  • Technology Problem Solving event: 7th place - Nick Alvarez and Brandon Lindley

  • Robotics event: 1st place - Nick Alvarez, Marshall Fowler, Brandon Lindley and Vishal Tailor; 4th place - Brandon Phy, Zach Lincoln and Tim Sauers

  • Design, Build and Test event: 4th place - Vishal Tailor, Zach Lincoln and Eric Marcanello
