Pennridge Hosting Marching Band Competition on Saturday
The Pennridge Music Association and the Pennridge Marching Rams are hosting the 33rd Annual Spectrum of Sound Marching Band Competition on Saturday, October 6 at Poppy Yoder Field (Penn South middle School) in Sellersville.

The competition includes seven area high school marching bands performing their field shows in quest of the Best of Show Award.  Bands performing include Pennsbury, Council Rock North, Council Rock South, Neshaminy, Centennial and Souderton.
"This year’s show promises to be the most spectacular of the season,” says Melissa Perry, president of the PMA.  “The Marching Rams have brought a vibrancy to the season with a new marching style, sound and on Saturday – a new look!”

The Rams will take the field in uniforms fashioned to compliment the music and motion.   As hosts, the Marching Rams will perform, but not compete.
Gates open at 5:30 p.m. The first band will perform at 6:30 p.m.  The show will continue until approximately 10 p.m. with an awards ceremony immediately after.

Students and seniors entrance fee is $5 per person and adults are $8.  Food will be available for purchase along with t-shirts and music souvenirs.
