Pennridge School Board Director Vacancy

The Pennridge Board of School Directors announces with regret the resignation of Ms. Melissa Kilderry as Board Director effective September 19, 2019. Pursuant to Section 315 of the Public School Code of 1949, as amended, the remaining members of the Board are obligated to fill this vacancy no later than October 19, 2019. The successful individuals will remain in this position until the first Monday of December after the next general election for School Board Members in the Fall of 2021.  

In accordance with Section 322 of the Public School Code of 1949, as amended, interested applicants must be of good moral character, at least 18 years of age, a citizen of Pennsylvania, and a resident of the Pennridge School District since at least October 19, 2018.  Applicants must submit a letter of interest, a resume outlining their credentials, and a completed questionnaire. All information is available on the district website. Such information must be submitted to the Board Secretary Ms. Nancy Chenoweth, Pennridge School District, District Administration Office, 1200 North Fifth Street, Perkasie, Pennsylvania 18944, for receipt no later than 12:00 p.m. on Monday, October 7, 2019.  Electronic submissions will also be accepted at nchenoweth@pennridge.org.  Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
