Cheerleaders Earn Several Awards at UCA Camp

The Pennridge High School cheerleaders recently came home from a UCA Camp with a number of team and individual awards, including:
  • Superior Ribbons for individual JV and Varsity evaluations in Rally routine, Cheer and Game Day Band Dance.
  • First place in Game Day Performance and second place in the Rally Routine Performance by the JV squad against four other teams.

  • Third place in Game Day Performance and Fifth place in Rally Routine Performance by the Varsity squad against out of seven other teams. 

  • Most Improved Program trophy for the entire team.

  • Seniors Jordan Ruth and Natalie Tulone and juniors Gabby Sharp and Madison Diamente were named

    -American winners in the Varsity division and received an invitation to London, England for a tour
    and to participate in the New Years Parade.

  • Tierney Morrison won the “Jump-Off” in the JV division and was also named All-American. She received an invitation to participate in the Thanksgiving Parade in Philadelphia.

  • As trophy winners, both teams are eligible to cheer pregame at the Citrus Bowl.
"It was an exciting 4 days for Pennridge Cheerleading," said coach Lisa Gilmore.  "We had a great time. It was a fabulous learning experience for the team and coaches."
