MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 24, 2017 – DAY 5

DR. RATTIGAN:

Our “T.A.K.E.S. P.R.I.D.E.” theme of the month is “Perseverance.”  This week’s quote is from Albert Einstein.  Albert Einstein said, “It’s not that I’m so smart; it’s just that I stay with problems longer.”

When faced with a problem, try to take a step back and look at it from an alternate perspective.  This can help show you which solution would work best.

GUIDANCE OFFICE:

You don’t have to be a genius to outsmart the SAT or ACT (though it certainly doesn’t hurt).  Catalyst’s one-weekend ACT, and SAT Bootcamps arm students with go-to strategies for every question they’ll face on the day of the test so they can march into the test with confidence, momentum, and every key strategy fresh in their mind. Call 800.235.0056 or visit www.CatalystPrep.com for more information or to enroll.  Classes begin this March!

On Sunday, March 5th, Kaplan will be hosting free, Live Online prep sessions to help students prepare for the SAT on Saturday, March 11th.  Instructors will train students on a different section of the SAT every hour, so students can join in at any time throughout the event.  Registration information is on the Guidance website.
