Our “T.A.K.E.S. P.R.I.D.E.” theme of the month is “Respect.”  This week’s quote is from Jane Addams.  Jane Addams said, “Civilization is a method of living, an attitude of equal respect for all men.”  Rate yourself – how good are you at respecting others?

P.H.S. SAFE SCHOOLS COMMITTEE/Security Guard Appreciation:

Hey Pennridge! Did you know that the P.H.S. Safe Schools Committee has deemed today Security Guard Appreciation Day?  Mr. Branch, Mr. Fry, Mr. Clark, (and sometimes-even Mrs. Borghi) work day and night to make sure our school is intruder free and the campus is patrolled.  Take time today to thank our security guards if you see them in the hallways, whether that’s shaking their hand, giving them a high five or just saying thanks, they’ll really appreciate it!  Thank you for all you do!

We have representatives from the Navy, National Guard, and Army scheduled to visit during the next two weeks.  Please register on Naviance if you would like to attend.  A pass will be sent to you the morning of the visit.  If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Lewis in the College & Career Center.

Summer Volunteer Opportunities are available at the Da Vinci Science Center in Allentown. Stop by the College & Career Center, Room 354, for a flyer if interested.  Thank you!

MR. CZAPLICKI/Indoor Guard & Drumline Championships:

In preparation for the Indoor Guard and Drumline Championships tomorrow, there will be a championship-eve exhibition performance tonight in the green gym. The performances will take place beginning at 6:30 p.m.  Please come out to wish them luck and to celebrate another successful season for our indoor guard and drumline.
