NEW DIRECTOR OF PUPIL SERVICES

WELCOME: MICHELLE BURKHOLDER!!!!

 

The Pennridge School District would like to introduce everyone to our new Director of Pupil Services, Mrs. Michelle Burkholder.  

Mrs. Burkholder will be replacing Dr. Robert Phillips who left the district in December. 

Mrs. Burkholder was named Director of Pupil Services at the February 8, 2016 Board meeting and will join the district sometime this month.  No stranger to Pennridge, Mrs. Burkholder began her career at Pennridge as an LTS special education teacher at both Pennridge High School and Grasse Elementary School.  She then went on to serve as an autistic support teacher and ESY head teacher at the Bucks County Intermediate Unit and the Central Bucks School District.  For ten years, Mrs. Burkholder held the position of Supervisor of Special Education (both elementary and secondary) at Central Bucks and Neshaminy School Districts.  She is a former adjunct professor at Gwynedd Mercy University and is currently the principal at Lower South Elementary School.

Mrs. Burkholder holds a Bachelor’s degree from East Stroudsburg University and a Master’s Degree in Education from Holy Family University.
