Planning for Post-Secondary Transition: Life after the high school diploma for students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)

WHEN: Tuesday, March 20, 2018 from 6:30pm to 8:00pm

WHERE: Pennridge North Middle School Auditorium

PRESENTER: Jamie Lill, Bucks County Intermediate Unit #22, Program and Training Specialist

WHY YOU SHOULD ATTEND: Starting at age 14, a plan must be developed for every student with an IEP to prepare him or her for life after high school across the domains of Post-Secondary Education & Training, Employment, and Independent Living. This transition plan, embedded within the annual IEP, uses a meaningful and coordinated set of activities and services to help each student work toward achieving his or her post-secondary goals. The support of outside agencies in this process may also be appropriate. This parent training will expose all attendees to the basics of the transition planning process. The presentation will last approximately 1 hour with additional time for questions.

Pre-Registration is not required
