posted Feb 29, 2016, 6:04 PM by Robert James

The students took time to present information on the candidates in the two primary races.  Based on what they have researched about what they want to see in a good leader, they voted for which candidate would best represent them as President.  Below are the results.  Do they align with your thinking?  Who will win in November?

Bernie Sanders     41%
Ted Cruz           17%
Hillary Clinton    17%
Donald Trump       15%
Marco Rubio        10%

Behavior Reports

posted Sep 29, 2012, 7:58 AM by Robert James   [ updated Sep 29, 2012, 7:59 AM ]

Hello Parents,
We are trying to track CARES Cash using an online program called "Class Dojo" that enables us to record positive and negative behaviors at school.  Whenever CARES Cash is earned or lost, it will be recorded.  Periodically, reports will be sent out to the parents from the website so you can look at the behaviors and discuss them with your child.
To access your child's reports, you will need to create an account to login to this site.  (www.classdojo.com)  It's a simple process.  Once you have the account, you should be able to click on the link sent in e-mail to see your child's report.
I hope this information is helpful.

Genovation 904-RJ POS KeypadThe new point of sale system has been put into use in the Bistro.  This enables you to place money into an account at school and students will debit this account.  This will also help you as parents to understand what your student is purchasing.
Students will need to know their Student ID's to purchase items in Bistro using their account.  There are reminder cards for students during checkout.  There is more details for setting up your account and adding funds on the district's Nutritional Services website.

Hi Parents,
If you are struggling when helping your child with the math homework, please keep in mind that every child has a Student Reference Book (SRB) that they can bring home.  It has all of the information on the mathematical techniques used in the program.  It also has the games used to help your student develop more proficiency in math skills.  It is a very handy parent reference book, so ask your child to bring it home.
Please note that this reference is also available on the www.everydaymathonline.com website.  Students can login using their account.

Friday Updates

posted Sep 30, 2011, 4:00 PM by Robert James   [ updated Sep 1, 2012, 5:22 AM ]

Hello Parents,
There will be times when I forget to copy the Friday Updates until it is too late.  This made me think, "Why not just post the latest information online?" This will help if the paper version is lost, or if Mr. James did not get it copied on time.  So I have made a location under the Parent links for the Friday Update.  That way you can see what is happening if your paper gets lost.
E-mail me if you think this is useful for you.
