August 1- Color Contest: Song Contest and Pool Day;                     Scavenger Hunt, CIT play

The Fair-An Event for All Campers
Thursday, July 31, is our annual fair.  The fair will feature game booths, food booths (including ice cream, soft pretzels and other goodies), face painting, tattooing, sand art and other Philadelphia booths.  Once again, we will not be using tickets so we ask you to send in $5.00 (cash only) in an envelope with your child’s name on it by Wednesday.  This will give your child unlimited access to the booths (with prizes galore!) and all the food!  Each camper will also receive a goodie bag.

Capture the Flag Ends in a Tie!

The Red team behind the speedy legs of CIT Tahtiana, and the sneaky skills of senior bunker Eric Marshall, quickly came away with a big victory during the first game last Tuesday. During game two, the Yellow team earned a win by virtue of moving the Red team flag 12 more feet closer to the center line! The counselor game was a bit more defensive as neither team moved the flag. This left us tied 3 to 3 with just Pool Day and the Song Contest to come this Friday! Go Red! Go Yellow!

               Junior Bunkers Only

On Friday, August 1, Junior Bunkers will have a pizza party so do not pack a lunch on that day unless your child does not like pizza.

                         The Last Day

Friday, August 1, the last day of camp, we will have many special activities planned such as our annual Scavenger Hunt, Pool Day, Song Contest-Red vs. Yellow, and an all-star basketball game starring some of our older campers.  Also, the CIT and Senior Bunk will present their play, City Games CIT parents and Senior Bunk parents are invited to either performance (10:30 or 1:15) in the studio theater (also known as L-1) (main school building by the library downstairs).  Jr. Bunkers will not need a lunch on Friday because they will have a pizza party.

Campers will get their awards and camp pictures on Friday.  Please remind your child to clean out his/her locker and check the lost and found.

There will be no after camp on the last day of camp, Aug. 1.
