NC Educator Preparation Program Qualifications:

Certified applicants must hold a current North Carolina Teaching License in the area in which they are applying.

Lateral Entry Program Qualifications:

Applicants interested in being hired as a lateral entry teacher should comply with the Lateral Entry Program Qualifications.


Certified Teacher's salary is based on the State Salary Schedule plus 6% local teacher supplement, and state and local employee's benefits package unless otherwise stated. Classified employees receive compensation based on the State Salary Schedule plus local supplement, state and local employee's benefits package unless otherwise stated.

Applicants may also submit a resume and letter of interest to the site contact person listed in the position details.

Internal applicants for any administrative/central services positions should send a letter of interest and an updated resume to the Office of Human Resources via courier, fax, or email.
