About Lisa Stevens

      For over seven years now,  I have had the honor of working as a case manager at the Pelham Memorial School. This year, I am excited to be working with the Grade Six-Three Team! -I strive to motivate students and help instill their passion for learning.  

      My resume includes seventeen years of experience and certifications in Principal Leadership, Early Childhood Education, General Special Education, Intellectual Developmental Disabilities, Specific Learning Disabilities,  Emotional and Behavioral Disabilities, and Reading and Writing Specialist.  -I am also proud to say that I am a certified Orton Gillingham Reading Instructor. This certification is endorsed by the International Dyslexia Association. 

     My educational background includes degrees from the University of Massachusetts, Rivier University, and Southern New Hampshire University. Additionally, I attended both the University of New Hampshire and Granite State College in order to gain some of the teaching certifications listed above. -I simply love to learn! 

     Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family which includes my husband, three grown sons, a Daughter-In-Law, and my dogs, Jersey and Mick. I also enjoy jogging, hiking, and going to the beach. I visit Florida and Cape Cod as much as my schedule and funds permit me to do so.
