Welcome to Mrs. Greenwood's 4th Grade Class!

We had a great time at Strawbery Banke this week.  The students and chaperones visited many homes from the late 1600's to the early 1900's.  We were able to speak with and watch a cooper making barrels and a weaver making baskets.
The students were able to try weaving on a loom in one home, learn some new recipes and watch a cooking demonstration in the Shapiro Home.  At the Pitt Tavern, a young colonial man was instructing the children in early money and the ins and outs of a colonial inn.
Everyone seemed to have fun while getting hands-on experience with New Hampshire's history.
