Kathy Retzke
Hello!  I joined the Palmyra-Eagle Area School District in the fall of 2013 as the District Library Media Specialist for the three learning centers within the District.  In 2015, I also began serving the District as its Director of Curriculum.

I received my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.  I worked as a classroom teacher, teaching grades first, second, fifth and sixth and also as a District Library Media Specialist in the 23 years before I came to the PEASD.  In I995, I received my Masters in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in Library and Media Technology.  Then I went on to obtain my Principal and Curriculum Director licenses from Aurora University in 2011.

I believe strongly in this District, the children we teach and the people that work with them.  It is my goal to help the teachers in this District to teach with the most up-to-date materials and knowledge available.

Students in the PEASD grades 3-12 took part in the national event known as Hour of Code the week of December 5-9, 2016
