Robert Nicholas

Dr. Nicholas is a Research Associate in the Earth and Environmental Systems 
Institute (EESI) at Penn State University and Managing Director of the NSF-supported Network for Sustainable Climate Risk Management (SCRiM). He holds an M.A.T. in Natural Science from Colgate University and a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Science from the University of Washington. With research interests spanning climate dynamics, uncertainty quantification, Earth system modeling, and empirical-statistical downscaling, his current work focuses on the development of context-specific climate data products for agricultural, water resources, and biodiversity impacts and decision-support applications.
