NACP & AmeriFlux Joint Principal Investigators Meeting in D.C.

This week, the North American Carbon Program and AmeriFlux are jointly hosting their 5th Principal Investigators Meeting in Washington D.C. Presentation and workshop topics range from human impacts on the carbon cycle and urban carbon to carbon management and decision support, uncertainties in carbon cycle science, and carbon policy opportunities.

Dr. Robert Scheller is presenting a poster titled “Forest Carbon in the Lake Tahoe Basin: Climate, Bark Beetles, Wildfire, and Management Interactions” authored by himself and Dr. E. Louise Loudermilk. Two publications have already resulted from this research with two additional manuscripts currently in review.
