Duveneck recipient of NASA-MSU travel scholarship

PhD student Matthew Duveneck received a $700 travel scholarship through the NASA-MSU Professional Enhancement Award.  Scholarship enabled Duveneck to travel to the 2012 conference of the U.S. Regional Association for the International Association for Landscape Ecology in Newport, Rhode Island where he presented results on: Assisted Migration for Climate Change Adaptation: Forest Management Scenarios in Northern Minnesota. In addition to the travel scholarship, Duveneck was acknowledged at a formal dinner with former NASA-MSU awardees including Dr. Robert M. Scheller.
