PDST will facilitate seminars mediating the Department of Education and Skills Child Protection Guidelines for Primary and Post Primary schools (along with the Children First Guidelines) in the coming weeks. Follow this link to our website will all associated resources.

Literacy; Numeracy; Primary Curriculum support; Planning; Child Protection

Post-primary: Literacy; Numeracy; Post-primary subjects; Post-primary programmes (eg. LCA, LCVP); Planning

Active Learning with integrated use of ICT

Workshops in 'Active Learning with integrated use of ICT' in literacy and numeracy have been rolled out in Region 5. The website with all the presentations and associated links can be accessed for all here. In excess of 300 teachers have attended the workshops to date.

September 2011:
The Department of Education and Skills has decided that the T4 Support Service will now be part of the PDST.  This process will begin from the 1st September 2011 and is expected to be completed by January 2012. For now, the resources developed and upcoming events will be posted on the following site 

PDST has commenced leadership seminars for literacy and numeracy for all primary and post-primary schools.
