As of Monday, April 25, 2016, all elementary schools          are enrolling zone students only.

Raptor Visitor System:
 

Over 10,000 schools and facilities nationwide already rely on Raptor's web-based technology to keep students safe.

**Beginning Monday, April 4th, all visitors must have a VALID State Issued ID (all 50 states accepted), to enter the building. Every entry into the building will require your ID at the front door.  You will need to have your ID ready at the camera as well as in the front office.

Thank you for your support and understanding during our transition period for this new system.

  • Bus Evacuation Periodically our busses hold an evacuation drill.  A NES bus won an award for the fastest bus evacuation in the county!!  The students on bus #93, along with Dr. Palk and Mrs. Stephanie (the bus driver) did an amazing job!!

  • Well Child Through our partnership with Well Child, our school district is trying to bring health care to all schools.  Well Child has performed preventative health exams in schools for over 15 years and has helped parents identify many hidden health issues that needed medical attention.  At the start of each school year, we send home Well Child packets that include consent forms for 2 types of exams: A physical health exam done by a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner and a comprehensive vision exam done by a board Certified Optometrist.  Well Child is committed to improving the health of children and tens of thousands of parents have taken advantage of these services.  Well Child is able to bill the following insurance carriers ...

  • PEP Talks The PEP Talks committee decided to try something NEW in hopes of reaching more parents with tools to enhance healthy family relationships.  We are sponsoring a Parenting on Purpose workshop on Saturday, September 17th, from 9:00a.m. to 12:00 noon at Prescott South Middle School.  Participants will get to choose the workshop topics that interest them and childcare WILL be provided.  For more information, please click on the link in the side bar titled "Pep Talks".

  • Tri-Book Tournament Thirteen Northeast student's were chosen to participate in the 5th annual Tri-Book Tournament held recently at The Cookeville Higher Education campus. Students were given the task of completing two of three higher level novels to read and then pass a AR test over each one. Northeast students completed and passed all three tests.  They spent the day completing different tasks pertaining to each book and then gaining points for each. Northeast fourth graders Hannah Boles and Emmy Delk were members of the Tri-book championship team!
