You can still register your child for Kindergarten! 

 Students must be 5 on or before August 15th, 2015

Documentation to bring with you to registration:   Birth Certificate, Social Security Card, Immunization Form (from your doctor's office), and 2 proofs of residency (utility bill, voter's registration card, property tax statement or notarized letter from renter.

  • Chrysler Drive 4 Kids Mr. Bill Phipps and Mr. Brandon Hall came by NES this week and awarded the school with a check for $3,300.00.  Thank you for your participation.  We received $10 for every adult that test drove a Chrysler vehicle on the night of our PTO Carnival and BBQ in September.  We were given a bonus of $750, because we reached a target number of test drives that Chrysler had set.  We had a total of 255 test drives that night!

  • Reading Fair Congratulations to our Reading Fair winners!  Our Reading Fair was held on Friday, December 19th.  We owe a special "Thank You" to our school adopters for donating books to our winners and also donating a book to every one of our students at NES!!

  • 2nd Grade -Pilot Club Presentation Members of the Putnam County Pilot Club visited with our 2nd graders and spoke to them about bicycle safety.  Names were randomly drawn and we had a few lucky students who received free helmets.  Thank you to our Pilot Club for their generosity!

  • PEP Talks PEP Talks is gearing up for the final six-week series of the 2014-15 school year.  The first Talk will be held on Tuesday, January 6th, from 12-1 at Progressive Savings Bank on Interstate Drive.   • Welcome Mrs. Tera Brooks!! Mrs. Brooks has been working in the Putnam County School System for 19 years as an elementary teacher and currently as the system wide Enrichment Specialist.  You may have seen her around the building working with students and teachers. Mrs. Brooks will begin her new role here as assistant principal on Monday, October 20th.  She is very excited to be a part of the Northeast family and we are too!

  • Chrysler Drive for Kids We are participating in the Drive for Kids again this year on the same night as our BBQ & Carnival!  We get $10 from Chrysler for EVERY adult that tests drives one of their vehicles.  The test drives will take place in our back parking lot.Last year we earned approximately $3,900 on this event alone.  It is possible to earn an extra $5,000 if we have the most test drives in the REGION!!

  • NES BBQ & Carnival Saturday, September 20th from 3-7pm we will be having our Annual NES BBQ.  It will be held in the cafeteria and on the playground. *Tickets are on sale for BBQ plates.  $10 per adult BBQ plate and each kid receives a FREE hotdog plate.  Please purchase these tickets in advance. *Baskets of varying themes are set up in the front office and you can purchase raffle tickets for these baskets that will be given away on the night of the BBQ.  Tickets are $1 each, or 6 for $5, or 25 tickets for $20. *Carnival tickets will be $1 each on the night of the carnival for the various activities.

  • Math & Movie Night Friday, September 12th we will be hosting a Math & Movie Night beginning at 6 pm.  We will start the evening with math activities using Lego toys and enjoy a hotdog plate, courtesy of SouthEast Bank.  Bring your blankets or camping chairs and join us at dark for The Lego Movie.  This will be a great night of fun and learning.
