EIG-Employee Involvement Group

On behalf of the Park City Employment Involvement Group we would like to welcome you all back for the 2024-2025 school year. EIG was approved and recognized as a bargaining group and allowed to participate in negotiations.  EIG was established so that all classified employees have access to all information pertaining to their employment and compensation. Our purpose is to negotiate the best compensation package for all classified employees.

The goal of EIG is to continue to work professionally and diligently to get information out to classified employees, to champion and protect the rights of the classified employees to have a voice, and allow all classified employees to vote on their compensation package. 

Another initial goal of EIG is to improve the work environment: All employees will be represented equally, improve communications, allow all employees a voice and involvement, teamwork and improve overall employee morale.

What is EIG:

EIG is a group of classified employees who believe in all classified employees having the opportunity to receive  information, surveys and have a voice and vote on the classified employee's compensation agreement and compensation package. The compensation agreement is based upon approved step increases, COLA's, insurance, etc.  

The District and School Board have decided that in order to have this opportunity to receive information and vote on the compensation package, all classified employees need to be registered with a group. Currently, there are two classified groups that the Board recognizes, they are EIG and PCCEA. Therefore, if you are simply interested in receiving information, voicing your opinion, and voting without paying dues, you can register with EIG to have this great opportunity.

EIG will provide representation on the district committees and bargaining/negotiating team for classified staff. This is all done by volunteers and requires approximately 6-8 meetings.
