The data confirmation part of the Parent Portal runs on Silverlight 5.1 or higher.to check your version do the following
On your computer go to Start > Computer > Nameofdrive(C:) > Program Files > Microsoft Silverlight
There is a file in there with a name like this " 5.1.20513.0"
That is the version number. If your version is not 5.1 or higher can you install the latest version of silverlight?
If your student changes school sites within Plumas County Office of Education or Plumas Unified School District you do not need to make a new parent account.
The parent account will follow your student for the entire time they are enrolled within Plumas Unified or Plumas County Office of Education regardless to attendance location.
Parents do not need to share an account to use abi.
Each parent can have a separate account as long as there are no court orders of non contact or other things that would prevent a parent for legally has access to a students records..
Each parent would need to sign the parent portal agreement and return it to the school.
Each parent would need the same three piece of information. (student ID, Verification Pass Code, and Student’s Home Phone Number from the student form in Aeries)
When the parents create the accounts there is a point where it asks which contact record belongs to the account (step 5 in the instructions).
As long as mom and dad each have a separate record in the Contacts in Aeries they can each make an account.

ABI Getting Started > Verifying your e-mail
Once the ABI account creation wizard has everything it needs to get started, you will see a page titled 'Step 3'.
At this point, close your web browser.
You will now need to check your e-mail for an e-mail message coming from email@example.com. The message should be received within a minute or two in most cases.
If you do not receive this e-mail within a couple minutes, it is likely that something is blocking the e-mail from getting through to you.
If you have a 'safe senders' list, or some other way of letting your e-mail application know that it should consider e-mail coming from firstname.lastname@example.org to be valid e-mail, you can do that ahead of time to allow the e-mail to go through without delay.
Once you receive the e-mail from email@example.com, you will simply need to click on the embedded link within the e-mail. This should then open a web browser window, update your account status to 'verified' on the ABI system, and continue on with the initial login process.
If your e-mail program does not allow you to click on the link to verify the e-mail, there will be instructions in the e-mail explaining how to manually verify your e-mail address.
Note: The e-mail that you receive for verification contains a 'Confirmation code'. This should not be confused with the 'Verification pass code' you receive from the school. The 'Confirmation code' is only needed if you need to manually verify your e-mail address. Whereas the 'Verification pass code' will be the code you use to associate a student with your ABI login.
The following list some of the most common problems, and/or potential fixes, to help you get going with ABI in case of trouble:
If you can not get your email to verify after following trouble shooting above contact support firstname.lastname@example.org
If you have confirmed your email, entered your telephone number, student's ID and Verification Pass Code and it tell you it is invalid and you are sure it is correct contact support email@example.com
If you just cannot get it working and you don't know why contact support firstname.lastname@example.org
Please include the email address that you are using to create the account.
Your Student's ID number
Your telephone number
Your Verification Pass Code given to you by your school site office.
Please Do Not Include your student's name, we do not need it to assist you.
