The CHS Experience

Graduating from a school like Chester High is a unique experience.  Most schools in California have 1500-2000 students or more, but at a school like ours, you are not just a face in the crowd or a number in a book.  Each student really has a chance to get to know the teachers and staff.  Use this to your advantage.  As you search for post-high school options, ask for help.  All of us are here to help and we're happy to do it!  Feel free to come see one of your teachers, the counselor, the principal, or campus staff.  All have had different experiences in how they got to where they are today, and all of us can help you in your search.  Or, you can always post a question on Chester High School Counseling Facebook page.  There are a lot of people out there ready to assist you in your search for the next step!

**Updated scholarships on the scholarship page AND see the updated events attachment.  These are also sent out hardcopy to the seniors.

Private colleges: deadlines vary

Many private colleges use the Common Application (one application that can be sent to multiple private colleges; there are usually campus-specific “supplements” for each college):  www.commonapp.org
