VoiceThread Compare and Contrast Learning Tool: Teachers you may use this VoiceThread as a means to capture student responses to the compare and contrast lessons described in the Arts in Cultural Context workshops. You can also apply the Critical Response Protocol as the prompts for having students type, audio record, or video record their own critical response to each of these images. The Ojibwe People's Dictionary is a searchable, talking Ojibwe-English dictionary that features the voices of Ojibwe speakers. It is also a gateway into the Ojibwe collections at the Minnesota Historical Society. Along with detailed Ojibwe language entries and voices, you will find beautiful cultural items, photographs, and excerpts from relevant historical documents. This film records an Anishinaabe scroll keeper named Miskomin teaching Native American students about birch bark scrolls, wiigwaasabakoon.
