PBLJH Announcements

November 16,  2018

TOMORROW is the last day Student Council will be collecting food for our local food pantry.
Boxes to collect items will be in each grade level wing. The grade level with the most food in their box by this
Friday, Nov 16th will earn ice cream during advisory. As of this morning the 6th grade is on
their second box......come on 7-8th graders bring that food tomorrow!

Today during advisory students will learn about how to use the Kindness is Kool bulletin board in the main hallway.
Being kind is easy and contagious.  Please take a minute out of your day to do something kind for someone else.
Yesterday several students filled out their forms after performing their act of kindness.
Faith Miller thank you for helping Mrs. Johnson fill the envelopes during your free
time she really appreciated your help. Addison Lavender thank you for cleaning the tables in Lab 121 your
help was wonderful.  We also saw
a lot of high fives around the building in the afternoon.
Keep it up and be kind it spreads and makes others smile.

Students don't forget this Friday is the mark for our 2nd Qt. Midterm.  Be sure you are checking with your teachers and making
sure you have all the needed work turned in by Friday.  Remember that grades are directly connected to you gaining
admission tothe first Panther Celebration.  One of our targets is you have to be passing all 2nd Qt. classes and
this includes all classes.

Congratulations to our 7th and 8th grade boys basketball teams in their wins over St. Matthews last night at home.

IT's trivia time again! Sign up again with Mrs. Bird to play trivia Tuesday!
At this time please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance:
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America,
and to the republic for which it stands,
    one nation under God, Indivisible,
with liberty and justice for all.

We will now pause for a moment of Silent Reflection!

Thought of the day!
