Senior Awards night is May 16th food at 6:15pm and awards at 7:00pm


Students interested in Summer Driver’s Ed, see details below:

When:          May 23 – June 7

Time:            7:30am– 10:30am Everyday

                     (No Class on Memorial Day, May 28th)

Where:         PBL Jr. High School /Room # TBA

Amount:       $200.00 payable to PBL High School,

                      Must be 15 by May 24th 

*** Sign-up in the guidance office as space is limited to first 25 students  J  Money is due by May 18th.


Starting today, no student will be allowed to purchase an extra entrée or an extra (such as chips, muffins, juice or water) if you do not have money on your breakfast/lunch account.

All breakfast/lunch accounts must be paid in full by Monday, May 14th.  


Graduation Order forms can be picked up in the Commons. Pictures will be taken on Monday the 21st, after Senior Tea.


There will be a volleyball open gym on Wednesday, May 16th from 3:30-5 p.m. for anyone interested.


"If you are interested in being a part of the 2018 color guard there will be an informational meeting on Tuesday May 15th at 5pm In front of the High School. This meeting is mandatory if you wish to be a part of the color guard. It will also be mandatory that you attend the two weeks of band camp, practices every Tuesday night throughout the season, and be enrolled in band or flags first hour of first semester. Summer job:  Team Corn Detasseling is hiring students for summer detasseling.  Work with your friends this summer.  There are local pick up sites and local fields.  Earn from $7.75 to $10.00 per hour depending on your ability.  The season starts around July 10th and runs for 10-15 days.  Ages range from 12 & up.  Applications are available in the guidance office.  


To all sophomores and juniors:  Need a job this summer and interested in learning construction related skills? Education for Employment System #330 is accepting applications for their annual Summer Construction Education Program, which will run from June 4th- June 29th, in Champaign.

You will be participating in the construction of a Habitat for Humanity home, as well as visiting local trade unions. Upon completion of the program, you will earn a $500 stipend, an OSHA safety certificate, and 1 high school credit.

Summer Help wanted: (Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors with a drivers license)  Hydra Foldauger is looking for hard working and reliable manufacturing shop employees to run a metal break, painting and packaging.  All skill will be taught on the job, no experience needed.  If interested email Greg Niewold at greg@powerplanter.com or stop by the guidance office.
