The Paxton-Buckley-Loda Alumni Hall of Fame was created in order to recognize the outstanding achievements of former students before or after graduation from PBL, Paxton, Buckley-Loda, Buckley, Loda Township, Ford Central, Roberts-Thawville or Roberts High School. Areas of consideration include education and/or work/military experience after graduation, awards and honors while in school, awards and honors after graduation, professional contributions, community activities, and each individual's positive impact on the PBL school district, society, and our world.
Each year a committee of six people meet in February to begin reviewing and debating all nominations. A great deal of time and effort is taken in gathering background and supporting information of those potential Hall of Fame inductees prior to any decision being made. Based on the information provided and gathered, this committee then votes to determine which nominees will be inducted into the Hall of Fame for that particular year. This process all culminates in the fall at the induction ceremony which takes place at the annual homecoming parade and football game.
