About Us

Parry's Gymnastics, LLC

Philosophy

Parry's Gymnastics uses proven logical progressions with instruction in tumbling, vaulting, balance beam, and horizontal bar.  A careful, fun, well-supervised environment is emphasized.

Chuck Parry has conducted gymnastics programs for over 38 years.  He and his staff emphasize doing one's best over "being" the best.  Every child receives the same positive attention.  Instructors are U.S.A.G. nationally certified.  This program is ongoing and progressive with a focus of gymnastics as a beneficial activity more than gymnastics as a competitive sport.  Students may start at any time and continue for any number of months throughout the year.  Instruction is based on the USA Gymnastics Developmental Curriculum.

Our focus is to provide a healthy, safe, and fun experience for children to enjoy exercise and learn to stay fit.

Owner / Director Chuck Parry has conducted gymnastics and tumbling programs for over 38 years.  He holds a current  USA Gymnastics Professional Membership and National Gymnastics Safety Certification. He is the father of two children.  He graduated with a BA and a Masters degree in Education. Coach Parry has contributed to advancements in gymnastics equipment.  He is continually updating his skills thru involvement with USA Gymnastics University.

Mission

Our mission is to help children develop character and well being; physically, mentally, socially, and emotionally through fun and purposeful activities.  Classes are conducted in a careful, fun, non-competitive environment.  It is our desire that children will learn more than gymnastics moves in our program.  We hope children will acquire such "down-to-earth" benefits as: increased coordination, body control, flexibility, strength, how to participate, follow instructions, increase self-esteem, improve social interaction with peers, goal setting skills, mental alertness, positive attitudes, respect for themselves, respect for others, fundamentals of movement, skills that will enhance other sports and activities.

Services

We offer group gymnastics, tumbling, and trampoline instruction at several locations in central New York.  Locations and schedules vary by season.
