There are some amazing benefits to becoming a member of Parkway Playhouse.

For 70 years, the Playhouse has groomed actors, directors, playwrights, scenic and costume designers; we’ve encouraged those who think they might like to act, those for whom theatre is a calling, and those who just know that they love the applause. 
Help support our programs that reach underserved populations, providing scholarships for underprivileged students so they can enroll in production classes. Providing opportunities for our senior populations, whose enthusiasm and experience never grow old. Ensuring every age group in our community can look at Parkway Playhouse as their arts organization -- a place to learn, grow, interact.

An anonymous donor has offered Parkway Playhouse a $30,000 Challenge Grant
The donor wants to encourage others to donate and has offered to match new donations, donations from lapsed donors, and gift increases.  With this grant Parkway Playhouse will receive $30,000 if it raises $15,000 between October 1, 2016 and January 31, 2017.
The grant will match $2 for each $1 donated by new donors (those who have not previously donated to Parkway Playhouse) and lapsed donors (those who have not donated for the past two years).  Furthermore, the grant will match $2 for each $1 increase in the amount current supporters donated between October 1, 2015 and January 31, 2016 (so, if you donated $100 last year and donate $150 this year, $50 will be eligible for the grant). 
This Challenge Grant effectively triples your contribution or the increase in your contribution. 
    • To be eligible, funds must be donated between October 1, 2016 and January 31, 2017. If donating more than once during this time frame, donations will be combined to determine challenge eligibility.
    • Purchases of 50-50 raffle tickets, tickets to shows or fundraising events, business sponsorships, and Playbill ad purchases are not part of this challenge.
    • Parkway Playhouse will show Challenge progress on our website and social media.
    • The donations you make towards this challenge will be used for the operations of the theatre. The matching funds will be placed in the Parkway Playhouse Capital Improvement Fund (CIF). CIF funds were used to purchase the mini-split air conditioner/heaters that were installed this past August. We will continue to use the CIF to make improvements to the Parkway Playhouse facility.

    Thanks to our dedicated supporters, we matched the $15,000 challenge grant. We'll be receiving $30,000 for use to update our facility.
