1b. Teachers engage students in exploring real-world issues and solving authentic problems using digital tools and resources.
In Algebra 2 ad Precalculus, I had students utilize data sets to determine regression lines and make predictions.

3a. Teachers demonstrate fluency in technology systems and the transfer of current knowledge to new technologies and situations.
I have used the new academic pages with some success and am learning more about the TI-Nspire calculators and plan to use more Nspire activitites next year.  I'm currently utilizing the TI-Navigator system every day - student engagement is up.

Teachers communicate relevant information and ideas effectively to students, parents, and peers using a variety of digital-age media and formats.

I am utilizing student emails to communicate more effectively with students regarding makeup work.  I have found this to be somewhat effective, but we need to encourage students to check these email accounts regularly.

5c. Teachers evaluate and reflect on current research and professional practice on a regular basis to make effective use of existing and emerging digital tools and resources in support of student learning.

Craig Savage has provided the faculty with concrete demonstrations of utilizing technology to make instruction more effective.  I plan to investigate the resources that he has provided so that I can utilize some of the same strategies.
